Founded on October 8, 1991, Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. is a well-established Sino-foreign joint venture located in Shenzhen SEZ (Special Economic Zone), China¡¯s exemplary show-window exhibiting its open-up experiments. Its main business scope covers such areas as equipment installation, commissioning, modification, inspection and overhauling for gas turbine and steam turbine power stations. Nanguang is backed by a strong professional team with rich experience and proven competence in gas turbine genset installation and overhauling, and is equipped with high-tech instruments and facilities for GT inspection and overhauling. As the sole distributor of GE gas turbine spare parts in China, Nanguang can provide GT spare parts with best quality and most favorable price. Meanwhile, Nanguang supplies home-made tightening hardware, seals and some auxiliary spare parts needed in unit installation and overhauling. Nanguang has so far been the only eligible EPC contractor in China for both GT spare parts supply and GT projects contracting including GT power station overhauling, modification, overseas relocation, installation and commissioning. In spite of numerous difficulties such as incomplete documents and insufficient equipments, Nanguang has, as an EPC contractor, successfully undertaken quite a few GT projects such as the old used GT unit removal, installation, overhauling, commissioning, oil to gas fuel modification for control system, GT performance testing and operation services for GT power station, covering a wide range from modification design to selection of imported spare parts, import agency, production of home-made parts, special parts and tools, and field operation as well as personnel training. Nanguang is also the only company in China with the technical strength in conducting a series of gas turbine modification including modifications of inlet system, control system and combustion system as well as DLN (Dry Low Nitrogen) combustion technology. With the spirit of active innovation and bold practice, Nanguang has successfully modified the MS5000 oil & gas fueled turbine unit into a unit that can be fueled with medium BTU coke oven gas, taking the lead in China and even in the world at large. Since its establishment, Nanguang has undertaken lots of power plant construction and modification projects£¬and provided excellent services to hundreds of electric power plants and stations home and abroad. Nanguang undertakes the installation, inspection & overhauling and modification of GT models ranging from GE or homemade 9E, 6B, and Frame 5 units, to Siemens V94.2, ABB GT13E2 gas turbine and DK1-1N31 steam turbine, and various types of steam turbine, generator and AC/DC electric motors as well, thus accumulating rich experience in installation, inspection and overhauling of GT and ST power plants and stations. Nanguang has now successfully set foot on global GT market, particularly it has gained access to SEC (Saudi Arabian Electric Corporation), who owns almost one thousand GT units. So far Nanguang has perfectly completed many overseas projects such as 4x6B Sunon Asogli (Ghana) relocation, Nigeria 8x6B overall inspection and trouble-shooting technical services, V94.2 installation and commissioning at Shikalbaha Power Plant in Bangladesh, installation and commissioning of 6B gas turbine in Indonesia, cylinder replacement of 2 sets Hitachi 6000 series GT in Malaysia.
