With scorching sun burning overhead, temperature of Bangladesh was well above 35 Celcius even in March. On 18 Mar. 2010, a delegation of six including Mr. Chen Shenghong, Managing Director, and Mr. Kou Yongping, Deputy General Manager of Nanguang Power arrive at Shicalbaha Gas Turbine Power Plant in Bangladesh to visit our working staff striving hard for the Siemens V94.2 installation project.

        Mr. Chen asked in details about the safety condition and progress of the project, presented his total recognition of the dedication and contribution made by our hardworking personnel on the site, and meanwhile encouraged them to maintain the good momentum so as to fulfill the remaining work sooner. 

        Currently, over 50 percent of workload of GT installation in Shicalbaha has been finished. Major parts of inlet system and exhaust stack have been installed, alignment of GT unit has also been completed. Now Nanguang workers are handling some finishing touches concerning lube oil circulation, GT heat insulation, wiring, and inlet and exhaust installation. The major items of installation are expected to be completed by early April.

        Nanguang leaders’ visit to the installation site greatly stimulated our project personnel. They all promised that they would never let our leaders down, and would work even harder to fulfill the GT installation and commissioning with both quality and quantity ensured.
