It’s generally known that either for a gas turbine power plant or a combined cycle power plant (CCPP), the checking standard of whether it is completed and handed over to the owner for commercial operation is continuous running for 168-hour (7-day) or 72-hour (3-day). Nangang Power fully took in charge of reconstructing project of the #2 CCPP from oil to gas turbine  in Liuzhou Xinhegang; from 9:36 am, Nov. 10, 2012 the start of the 72-hour testing running to 9:35 am, Nov. 13, 2012 the successful end, according to instructions, prior to handover to the owner, the turbine set should have been shut down for defect elimination and another 24-hour testing running is followed,and then hand over to the owner.According to relied on the supply quota of coke gas from Liuzhou Steel and the needs of electrical load, Xinhegang Power Co., Ltd., put forward to the requirement on the Combined Cycle Turbine Set reconstructed from oil to gas in the #2 CCPP Project for a continuous running without shutdown, and therefore, drawing turbine running log from MKV and making comprehensive analysis, Nangang Power field adjusting staffs thought of that the gas turbine set was under steady running and all the item data were normal, so they believed that the turbine set could can run continuously as long as the coke oven gas pressure is stable.

After a steady and continuous running of 336-hour (14-day) for the #2 CCPP DLN Turbine Set, on Nov. 24, 2012, Xinhegang Power Co., Ltd. signed the Handover Certificate with Nanjing Nangang Power Equipment Installation Co., Ltd., and meanwhile,pay 95% of the project funds One year of quality guarantee for the gas turbine set was kicked off then.By the time of the day ,the turbine set has continuously run for 1168-hour with load 35MW/h, generating power 40.88 million KWH in total, making Xinhegang Power Co., Ltd. finish its goal three days in advance for the power generation of 0.25 billion KWH that year. In the #2 CCCP Project of Reconstructing the Gas Turbine from Oil to Gas in Liuzhou Xinhegang Power, once again Nangang Power showed its sharp edge and comprehensive experiences in gas turbine overhaul, relocation, reconstruction, installation, testing and adjustment, and meanwhile, created a new breakthrough: 1168-hour of continuous running without defect elimination or shutdown after 72-hour testing running for the freshly installed turbine set. Till the moment of issuing the article, the turbine set is still running, so the record of 1168-hour is being broken while new hits are shot without stop. When Christmas Carol of the Year 2012 was belled, the turbine roaring replaced the firecracker, the power generated by the turbine enlightened Liuzhou the Dragon City, and the #2 CCPP Reconstructed Gas Turbine Set (oil to gas ) in Xinhegang injected with 18-month of Nangang’s endeavors sacrificed light and warm to Liuzhou Steel and Liuzhou the Dragon City.
