4x6B Sunon Asogli (Ghana) Project The removal project of 4× MS6001B GT combined cycle units from Shenzhen, China to Ghana, Africa in 2007. The contract amount is over 0.1 billion CNY. Project Scope : ◆ All of the four units must be overhauled and refurbished in standard. Such as: replacement of compressor stationary blade, turbine nozzles, turbine rotor, shroud, combustion chamber components; replacement of cracked GT cylinder and re-alignment in the factory; refurbishment of exhaust chamber and so on. ◆ GT fuel system modification: conversion from original diesel oil and heavy oil GT units to natural gas GT units; modification of control system process accordingly to adapting the converted gas fuel. ◆ Control System Upgrades: replacement of MARK IV control system to the Mark VI control system in all the 4 units. ◆ Exterior painting for the 4 units. ◆ Dismantle and package all the 4 units according to Chinese gas turbine export standard. ◆ Installation and commissioning for the 4 units in Ghanaian site. ◆ Spare parts supply for 4 units. Construction scale of Sunon-Asogli Tema (Ghana) Power Plant is 560 MW, which occupies 172,800 square meters, and Ghanaian side will offer the fuel imported from Nigeria. The first phase of construction 200 MW will be the combined cycle set in Two Plus One Mode, namely, each set will be composed of 2 units of GE 6B gas turbine, two double-pressure heat recovery boilers and one double-pressure steam turbine. After overhauling, four units of GE 6B gas turbine, which are running respectively in Power Plant in China, will be removed to Ghana Asogli Tema Power Plant for installation, commissioning and connection to grid by Shenzhen Nanguang Power Co., Ltd. Changqing Power Plant Project For fuel conversion oil to gas and re-initiation of commercial use, two PG5301N GT Units manufactured in 70s by Hitachi were removed from Beijing No. 1 Thermal Power Plant and installed in Changqing GT Power Plant located at Mu Us Desert, Jingbian, Shaanxi Province. The power plant is the first pressured station along the China Natural Gas Pipeline West to East.
