PG6581B-L Gas Turbine Generating Set is designed mainly for Low BTU fuel burning. It's not only as the normal GT unit, i.e. containing air intake system, compressor, turbine, exhaust system and accessory system as well as control system, but also equipped especially combustion system, a valve station and a monitoring device for combusting control and hazardous gas checking.
The Low BTU fuel is a kind of gas with heat value about 5577kj/Nm3. It is usually the blast-furnace gas mixed with coke oven gas, generated in steel mill during the iron smelting and |
coking.
It is significant for high economic efficiency and environment protection of the steel mills by using the blast-furnace gas.
Besides, the unit can also use some other gas fuels with similar heat value, e.g. gas from coal mine, chemical process and coal gasification, so that generating power from clean-coal, and operating flexible and reliable.
